Mainly used in medicine, fermentation, bacterial culture and preparation of potassium pyrophosphate, etc. Industrial production of dipotassium hydrogen phosphate is made by neutralizing phosphoric acid with caustic potassium solution. It can also be obtained by neutralizing phosphoric acid with potassium carbonate solution first, and then neutralizing with caustic potassium solution.
